As part of our strategy to position COTA Queensland as a leader in the provision of services, support and solutions to
the needs of people over 50, we recognised the need to create a new look or brand for the organisation. This development
also recognises the achievements of the past 50 years - whilst presenting a new modern and professional 'look' to take us
into the future.
The identity visually communicates COTA Queensland as an organisation that possesses strong professional and ethical
values - whilst conveying the feeling of warmth and support for its members, the strength of the organisation. With over
50 years of experience, COTA Queensland required an identity that reflected this achievement - but also presented a
modern, forward-thinking organisation. The design visually communicates these messages in a fresh style that is appealing
to existing and prospective members, staff and stakeholders.
The colours of the new COTA Queensland logo were chosen to reflect the strength of the organisation - whilst also conveying
a feeling of warmth and compassion. The 'earthy' red represents leadership, authority, strength and energy. The 'aqua' green
represents professionalism, protection, guidance and credibility. These colours also signify the beauty and diversity of
our Queensland landscape.
The text style recognises COTA Queensland as friendly and approachable, with a strength and presence that reflects our position as a
leading provider of services to people over 50.
